Too scared to venture down into the basement?
Even if your basement is not finished, the space doesn’t need to be unwelcoming. If your basement walls are cement block or poured contret, fill in cracks with hydraulic cement and then apply a couple coats of a waterproof paint. Painting the basement floor with a good floor paint makes the space look more appealing, add shelving and you have transformed a dark dungeon into usable space.
